Carpentry

Anything from stain grade to paint grade, it all depends on what look you are looking for. I enjoy working with old material due to the intrinsic value it holds. One of my favorite focuses are on outdoor applications such as gates and arbors which really help to lift a landscape to its full potential. Since I have vested interest in this area I am familiar with the proper prep work needed to maintain a lasting product for such outdoor applications. This does not mean I am not unfamiliar with interior spaces as well. I also have years of experience in remodels in and around the peninsula. I do everything from layout, framing, roofing, siding, window installation, door installation both swinging and sliding, casing including crown modeling, cabinet installation, and interior wood ceilings. I also have experience with hardware installation, pulling wires, sweating pipe, installing trim kits, framing and waterproofing shower pans, taping and mudding, and properly insulating.
Custom Furniture
Rates starting at $85/hr
Recently within the past 4 years I have started to make furniture. I have done several projects for small business around the area, which include coffee tables, tall tables, and conference tables. I mostly make them out of reclaimed lumber and metal, however I also have worked with live edge as well. In fact I recently worked on milling up some beautiful redwood slabs with my alaskan mill and they are amazing! I really am interested in making some chairs, but haven't had the time or right client come around to challenge me to produce one yet.
Welding
Rates starting at $85/hr
I mainly weld frames for furniture and for the interior structure of exterior gates that may span more that 3'. However, I also have started to do some onsite welding as well. Unfortunately my welding resources are limited to a MIG welder right now that runs off of 220 so most of the onsite welding I do has to be within 100' of your 220 outlet.
